2. Light the Holidays Drive-Thru
Experience the magic of the holiday season at Staheli Family Farm's Spectacular Holiday Light Drive-Thru in St. George, Utah. From December 1 to December 23, 2024, between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm (closed Sundays), the farm transforms into a luminous wonderland with thousands of lights illuminating acres of farmland. Visitors can drive through in the comfort of their own vehicles or opt for an open-air wagon ride, available by reservation and weather permitting. The event also features whimsical displays, familiar characters brought to life with festive music, and a live nativity on December 11th, 12th, and 13th, with free admission for the nativity (standard admission applies for the light show).
3. St. George Temple Christmas Lights
While you’re in town, make sure to head to the historic St. George Temple to see the annual Christmas lights! This activity is totally free and is such a beautiful sight to see while exploring St. George. You’ll also be able to see a lovely Nativity scene and additional lights strung throughout the Visitors Center. You’ll be able to visit these lights through New Years Eve, so don’t worry if you don’t make it before Christmas!
4. Christmas in Dixie
In addition to twinkling St. George Christmas lights, you can find all kinds of holiday fun at the Christmas in Dixie tree lighting in Washington City, Utah. Typically falling on the Monday after Thanksgiving, this annual Christmas tree lighting is a festive way to kick off the holiday season! Sip on free hot chocolate or snack on some yummy doughnuts. You can also take a fun wagon ride to Santa’s house so your little ones can tell him what they want for Christmas. 5. Christmas in the Canyons Lights
Spend an afternoon at the Tuacahn Amphitheatre for their annual Christmas in the Canyon, running from November 29 - December 23, 2024. This event offers free admission (the train ride and nativity require a small ticket fee) and is filled with fun activities that everyone in your family can enjoy! Take in the beauty of over 250,000 twinkling lights, watch the live nativity performance, ride the Old Salty Train through the Tuacahn Loop, or come see the big man himself, Santa!
